In the entry fee you will get 3 race days with events, dinner and entertainment.
Friday: Check in, children’s race and prologue for the bikers.
Saturday: Competition for all categories with following “after bike battle party” and colourful Dinner show. Totally distance = Marathon = 42 km.
Sunday: Competition continues in absolute unique environment with a great reception at the finish line at the very frontline of the old world heritage town Visby. Totally distance = Marathon = 42 km.
GBB is a yearly recurrent event and a great meeting place for beginners as well as professionals. At the same time there is also a place for companies that wants an activity weekend with well-organized events.
In the professionals category there is money and many valuable prices to battle about. Also in the amateur classes there are many valuable prises you can win by drawing of lots.
GBB is a competition organized as a ”Rally” with special stages and liaison stages and you do not know who is winning until everyone finishes the last stage. The excitement will last the entire race despite if you are racing against yourself, your friend or for the podium. Everyone who aim for the win will have to push hard all the time, without knowing how the opponent are doing.
Between the special stages there is short liaisons were you have the possibility to fix problems like punctures etc. in the pit stops. The pit-stops gives you new chances to improve at each stage and here is also the possibility to change team member for each stage if you are competing in the team category. You are allowed to use up to 20 minutes between the special stages wish gives you the possibility to drink and rest if you gone to hard, also making it possible to race tactical.
For example you will meet Musicians, saints, trolls and pass trough the supermarket, water wall, nightclub, workshop, race tracks, hayloft and you will even meet celebrities as Börje Salming among many, many others things…
